E-FIRESTORM 10T - UPDATED WITH FANTASTIC NEW FEATURES!

The E-Firestorm 10T is already a popular, durable and quick truck, so how could HPI designers possibly make it better? By adding crystalless 2.4GHz radio gear to make it easy to drive with your friends and waterproof electronics that allow you to drive in really tough conditions! We didn't want to stop there, so we added a LiPo battery safety cut-off to the speedo, tossed in a powerful 8.4 volt battery pack and charger, plus AA batteries for the transmitter! To top things off we've upgraded the looks with stylish chrome-plated Split 5 wheels and a sweet all-new design for the bodyshell!

WATERPROOF
The E-Firestorm now has a waterproof receiver box to keep the 2.4GHz receiver protected from the elements for glitch-free operation. A new SF-10W waterproof steering servo means your E-Firestorm won't be stopped by wet conditions like rain, snow, and mud.

2.4GHz RADIO SYSTEM
Controlling the E-Firestorm 10T is easy with the HPI 2.4GHz radio system. No need to worry about changing crystals, the radio prevents frequency conflicts automatically. If the truck loses radio signal or battery power, an electronic failsafe will bring it to a safe and controlled stop.

WATERPROOF SPEEDO with LiPo CUT-OFF
Unique to the E-Firestorm 10T, the waterproof SC-15WP electronic speed controller features a LiPo battery cut-off to make your driving time safe as well as fun! The kit comes with a powerful 8.4v NiMH battery which doesn't need a cut-off, but if you want to use an optional 2S Lithium-Polymer battery the speedo stops the motor and other electronics drawing power from the battery before it reaches the lowest safe voltage level. This makes sure any LiPo battery isn't discharged too much, extending its lifetime while protecting your batteries!

The E-Firestorm 10T 2.4GHz comes with absolutely everything you need right out of the box! You get a powerful 8.4 volt battery for huge acceleration and maximum punch, a handy wall charger for safe and reliable charging, PLUS alkaline batteries for the transmitter! It absolutely does not get easier to get right into off-road driving!

BUILT TOUGH

TOUGH is the word that best describes the E-Firestorm 10T. Everywhere you look, the critical parts have been designed to withstand the rigors of off-road racing. The key to durability for any 2WD stadium truck is the transmission, and the E-Firestorm 10T transmission is extra tough, using all metal gears to easily handle the power of hot electric motors. Inside the transmission is a sealed planetary differential with, again, all metal gears for extra toughness. And everything is protected by an adjustable dual-pad slipper clutch mated to durable 48 pitch gears, with tough steel dogbones and axles transmit the power to the tires.

COMPLETE RACING SUSPENSION
The E-Firestorm uses the tough suspension design and suspension geometry from the nitro Firestorm 10T truck for extreme ruggedness, durability and great spares availability. The extra-long suspension arms are damped by adjustable long-strock shock absorbers, and turnbuckle camber links can be mounted in multiple locations for fine-tuning of the handling. All of the plastic parts are moulded from tough nylon for impact absorbtion and strength. At the front, alloy steel axles spin on top-quality rubber-sealed ball bearings for the best efficiency possible, while at the rear, strong steel outdrives, dogbones and axles ensure you have the reliability and ruggedness to take on the most extreme terrain.

The shock absorbers are professionally assembled and filled with real silicone shock oil for consistent shock action no matter the conditions at the track. Fitted with big coil-over springs and equipped with threaded adjustable shock bodies, the shocks can take big hits and are easily adjustable for all racing conditions. Steel turnbuckles let you make fast adjustmnents, and different mounting points allow you to adjust roll centre for advanced race tuning. The front and rear wheels use HPI 12mm 'step' type aluminium hex adapters, letting you use any HPI rear wheels you have in your collection on the front OR rear!

LOOKS GREAT!
The E-Firestorm 10T features a brand new pre-painted bodyshell in a cool 'megaprint' design. The DSX-2 body comes completely trimmed, decaled and mounted for the ultimate in ease. The intricate paint design features an extreme sports-inspired layout for a concours-quality appearance. You can always customize your truck with any of the clear or pre-painted polycarbonate body shells from the huge assortment of HPI bodies and other manufacturers as well! To set off the new paint schemes, the E-Firestorm 10T is topped off with a set of chrome Split 5 wheels.

FULL ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
As with all HPI cars and trucks, you get a full, in-depth instruction manual with step-by-step instructions that allow you to easily disassemble and reassemble your truck for maintenance and easy servicing. The manual also includes a handy parts list and full-scale drawings of the parts and hardware. And the included HPI RC Car DVD is your personal RC car expert in a box!

Introducing the refreshed HPI Bullet MT 3.0, the ready-built off-road vehicle that's ideal for all off-road bashers and enthusiasts! Now featuring a waterproof battery compartment, waterproof servos and rain cover for the air filter, the Bullet 3.0 is now truly a go-anywhere machine!

This Bullet is 1/10th scale monster truck fitted with a powerful 4WD drivetrain and extra-powerful HPI Nitro Star G3.0 engine with 2.2 horsepower, so it can power through all sorts of terrain and fly over any obstacles! Now fitted with a versatile and comfortable HPI 2.4GHz radio system, it's easier than ever to control the speed of the Bullet!

The Bullet MT 3.0 is just one member of a family of HPI vehicles which are based around a durable 4WD shaft drivetrain, 2 shocks per wheel and double-deck aluminium chassis. The Bullet off-road trucks feature either Nitro Star 3.0 engines or silent Flux brushless motor systems, and are available in different off-road truck varieties. In short, you can get the precise flavour of off-road performance you want with the HPI Bullet!

WATERPROOF!
The Bullet 3.0 trucks now feature a cool waterproof electronics compartment for the receiver batteries and receiver, a sealed waterproof switch, a pair of 4.5kg waterproof servos and finally a water-resistant air filter cover that allows you to keep running your Bullet in extreme conditions that would kill almost any other Nitro vehicle!

Want to tackle that muddy bug? How about that stream crossing? A bit of rain about to fall? It's all good for the Bullet 3.0!

Please note: This HPI vehicle is designed to provide water protection so it can be driven in wet conditions (e.g. rain, snow, puddles). Not for submersion. Nitro engines are splash protected and require extra care when running in wet conditions. See manual for details.

2.4GHz RADIO SYSTEM
All of the latest HPI kits are now fitted with a comfortable and feature-packed HPI 2.4GHz radio system for supreme control and confidence! The radio features a pistol-grip design with drop-down steering wheel, 3 channel functionality, easy carry handle, fold-down aerial, end point adjustments, servo reversing and steering dual rate. It's also extremely lightweight due to it requiring only four AA batteries.

You won't have to worry about radio crystals or what channel other RC racers are using with our 2.4GHz technology - the radio does all that work for you! The radio prevents frequency conflicts automatically and changes channels if there is any interference. Finally, if you ever lose radio signal or battery power, an electronic failsafe will bring it to a safe and controlled stop. You'll have professional-level control in one easy RTR package!

NITRO START G3.0 ENGINE
The Nitro Star G3.0 engine provides all the muscle for the Bullet 3.0 nitro trucks - it's loud, powerful and strong, to give you amazing acceleration and awesome top speed! The engine is started by a simple pullstarter system and is protected by a unique water splash cover and 2-stage air filter for extra protection, and the two-needle carburretor allows you to fine-tune the performance of the engine for any kind of weather or fuel.

CHASSIS
Formed from 6061 aluminium for a combination of strength and light weight, the Bullet 3.0 chassis is durable, looks great and forms the ideal backbone for all the various components that make the Bullet trucks so tough!

DRIVETRAIN
The drivetrain used in all Bullet trucks is a full-time four-wheel drive shaft-type drivetrain, just like the one used in 1/8th scale buggies like the World Champion D8 buggy. A shaft drivetrain is the best option for a kit that's expected to encounter every possible driving condition and track surface, so whether you're blasting through mud, water, dirt, grass, snow or gravel, this is exactly what you what you want!

A strong plastic 54-tooth spur gear takes the power from the engine and transmits it front and rear through an adjustable dual pad slipper clutch. A dual pad slipper provides more protection to the drivetrain than a standard single pad design, and we've included it as standard to make sure you get the best out of the Bullet.

The centre dogbones drive the front and rear bevel differentials, which use 4 internal gears for increased durability and lifetime over standard 2-gear diffs. The diff outdrives turn tough steel outdrives and axles, and 14mm hex adapters spin the cool styled wheels wrapped with all-terrain tractor-tread rubber tyres.

A single drilled steel disc brake is used for extreme stopping power. Brake pads shod with material used in full-size trucks clamp down when the brakes are applied, bringing this beast to a quick yet controllable stop! All the brake linkage is fully adjustable, but you can leave it as set from the factory or it can be adjusted for prime operation on any surface.

For extra efficiency, all the components of the drivetrain, from the spur gear to the wheel axles, spin on rubber-sealed ball bearings. With these bearings you get long runtimes and long engine life while the rubber seals keep out dust and grime!

SUSPENSION AND STEERING
The Bullet MT 3.0 uses a tough suspension design derived from larger racing trucks, but with a few extra bits for increased durability! Long suspension arms are damped by 2 oil-filled shock absorbers each, and tough front and rear bumpers combined with skid plates protect both ends of the truck in just about every collision.

Extra-long suspension arms provide stability, and thick suspension pins give you extra insurance against crash damage. Both shocks on each arm are 'captured', meaning the mounting screw attaches on both sides of the shock end for extra durability in any type of conditions.

The suspension arms feature a solid construction for extra-tough construction and extreme durability. Multiple shock mounting locations let you fine-tune the handling for whatever you plan to be doing.

For advanced tuning, turnbuckle links let you make quick adjustments, and even the steering links use turnbuckles so you can change the front toe setting if you wanted. Go ahead and try it - even though it's perfectly set at the factory for neutral handling, we don't mind if you try something new!

The shock absorbers are factory-fitted just like everything else on the Bullet MT 3.0, and are precisely filled with oil for exceptional handling in turns and cushioning when landing big jumps. With big coil-over springs they are the perfect match to the long suspension arms! Optional mounting points are provided on the suspension arms for lowering the stance of the truck slightly (great for running on-road) and stiffening up the suspension at the same time, without using option parts.

The hubs, steering knuckles, and rear uprights, are made of tough nylon plastic for enduring any sort of punishment. The front hubs have an oversized rock guard to keep pebbles and stones away from the dogbone/axle joint.
